Honesty, I thee wed

Oh my deer; oh deer, dear me
Life goes on perplexingly
Love's arm reaches through the fog
"look, my dear, a little frog"
Give it back, the precious prize
I will see with unveiled eyes
I am no ones slave or master
I'm a light and shadow caster
All my life, to keep me free
I thee wed, my HONESTY

And life goes on, from friend to friend
There is loving without end
End your resistance to life's flow
Sometimes you're high, at times you're low
Sometimes insulted, others praised
Let circumstances leave you amazed

Where shall we plant our life's seed?
When it grows, do we kill all the weeds?
Can you uproot, replant and grow;
When it's time to move, can you let things go?
So I will have no truer love
Than this: my own life, me, my dove
And I set sail in all life's seas
Cause with MY SELF I am well pleased

Love,
Psyche
